OUR STORY

Free Spirit Yoga opened in September of 2002. Our first studio was a small store front in the center of downtown Hershey - the first free-standing Yoga Studio in Hershey. We have grown and evolved over the years to spaces on Chocolate Avenue and Caracas Avenue in Hershey and we continue to grow and evolve! Currently our classes are offered at the South Hanover Township Building at 161 Patriot Way in Hershey, but starting on Saturday, January, 25 all of our classes will be moving to the Meadowsweet Studio at Brownstone Station Wellness Center located at 320 East 2nd Street in Hummelstown!!

We are a down to Earth, low-key community of people who practice what is typically known as traditional Hatha Yoga. We have several seasoned teachers who specialize in making yoga accessible and practical for everyone and provide classes that encourage you to slow down, take a deep breath and tune in. Our intention is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can feel free to be who you are and experience all the benefits that yoga has to offer.  Over these past 20+ years, we have grown into a wonderful Community of authentic and kind people and we invite you to join us! We have been doing this a long time and we love what we do!

We are also the home of Free Spirit Yoga Teacher Training. We offer a Yoga Alliance accredited 200 hour Teacher Training Program for aspiring Yoga Teachers as well as a 200 hour Deepening Your Practice Certification for those who want to dive more deeply into their own yoga practice. BIG NEWS…WE’RE MOVING!!

We are excited to announce that beginning Saturday, January 25, 2025 we will be moving all of our classes as well as our Yoga Teacher Training and weekly Community Class to Brownstone Wellness Center located at 320 East 2nd Street in Hummelstown!! Brownstone is a lovely Wellness Center located on a quiet street in Hummelstown. We are super-excited for this collaboration! Free Spirit Yoga will remain its own business and all class times will remain the same…we will just be in a new space!! Feel free to come in and join us!!
